Fox News host Neil Cavuto on Tuesday wondered “What the hell is going on?” with Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Olympic gold medalist and reality TV star Bruce Jenner, in a segment that mockingly covered her gender transition.
Cavuto was reacting to Jenner’s newly unveiled Vanity Fair cover, which marked her much-anticipated public debut as a woman.
Fox Business anchor Dagen McDowell mused about the “interesting way” Jenner decided to spell his new first name and then pointed out that Jenner preferred to use female pronouns now that her public transition was complete. Yet McDowell referred to Jenner using male pronouns almost exclusively throughout the segment.
Cavuto, who seemed uncomfortable with the topic, eventually told McDowell “Look at the time” and moved on to address fellow Fox Business host Charles Payne as “Charlene Payne.”
“What do you make of it?” Cavuto asked Payne.
“That’s the era that we’re living in, right?” Payne responded.
“Rome, final days. But that’s fine,” Cavuto said.
Classless disgusting bigots!
Ozzie and Harriet.
Fox News: Think Tank or Brain Trust?
Is it me or are there some women out there who are mortally offended by the idea of a man becoming one of them? I’m not talking about the religious nuts or other customary reasons for bigotry…more like they’re angry at the idea of a man invading their space, piercing the feminine mystique or something or other…like he’s cheated and getting a look behind the curtain. I dunno quite how to describe it, but maybe you get what I mean…
Jar of pickles.
