CNN Democratic presidential debate moderator Wolf Blitzer asked Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) during Thursday’s debate in Brooklyn how he could promote businesses internationally with his “contempt for American corporations.”
“Given your obvious contempt for large American corporations, how would you as president be able to effectively promote American businesses around the world?” Blitzer asked Sanders.
Sanders did not correct Blitzer’s assertion and gave an answer that prompted Blitzer to repeat his question:
“All right. Senator, but the question was, given your contempt for large American corporations, as president how would you be able to promote American business around the world?” Blitzer asked.
After the second time, Sanders corrected Blitzer.
“First of all, the word contempt is not right. There are some great businesses who treat workers and the environment with respect,” Sanders replied.
Blitzer is a re-puke shill.
Sanders is actually a “well regulated free market” kind of guy. His socialist views are more for education and health care, which I don’t have a real problem with. But he is by no means looking for government to take over businesses, that is totally false.
Sanders himself stated that, as POTUS, he would break up the banks and then leave the aftermath up to the businesses themselves. So, yeah, no gov’t. interference.
Wolf has an obvious contempt for objectivity. And journalistic ethics. This is not a claim - this is substantiated by his neglect of basic journalistic standards every time he speaks.
Not true. He wants them regulated and wants more gun control. He has been very clear on that.
