Conservative pundit Ben Stein questioned President Barack Obama’s mental health during an appearance on the Fox News show “Your World with Neil Cavuto” on Friday.
Stein was asked to respond to Obama’s statement earlier this week that hardliners in the U.S. who opposed the nuclear deal had a “common cause” with hardliners in Iran.
“I make of it that Mr. Obama is desperate. I’m not sure he is well-rested or in good mental health,” Stein said. “The idea of comparing loyal, patriotic Americans with mullahs and terrorists who want to destroy the United States, to destroy Israel, is incredible. It’s almost unbelievable.”
With his comments, Stein joined the leagues of conservatives who are making a full-court press for Congress to reject the deal to limit Iran’s nuclear program. Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) announced his opposition to the deal Thursday night during the Republican presidential debate.

I think we have discovered someone who is not in good mental health.
I remember seeing a 60 minutes episode 15 or so years ago where he was interviewed at his home and his teenage son(s)? and friends were making bombs in the backyard with the use of the anarchist’s cookbook. For some reason it didn’t seem to bother him and for that reason it always stuck in my mind.
I thought Ben Stein was an economist. Now he’s Charles Krauthammer?
Any comparison of Ben Stein’s head and the contents therein to a dud artillery shell is an insult to defective, ogive-shaped, payload carrying, projectiles everywhere.
I forget why he’s allowed on TV. Anyone?
