President Barack Obama swiped Fox News in a televised speech on Thursday, in which he mounted an aggressive defense of his economic record.
“There’s a reason fewer Republicans are preaching doom on deficits — because the deficits have come down at almost a record pace, and they’re now manageable. There’s a reason fewer Republicans are running against Obamacare – because while good, affordable health care might seem like a fanged threat to the freedom of the American people on Fox News, it’s working pretty well in the real world,” Obama told students at Northwestern University, to applause.
The anti-Fox line was also tweeted out to Obama’s nearly 48 million followers.
President Obama: While affordable health care might still be a threat to freedom on Fox News, it’s working pretty well in the real world.

Oh the impotent rage they must feel, being outwitted by the first black President. Making them reject their own brainchild as anathema and go to great lengths to make it appear as if it isn’t working.
Delicious delicious GOTP rage. Just in time for lunch.
BAM. Hit 'em again, Mr President. Harder.
He should have been hammering away at them from day one in office.
He should have invented a time-machine and started hammering them back in the early 80s. That and magic unicorns. He definitely should have given me a magical unicorn.
Of course the Affordable Care Act is a “threat to freedom” on Fox News. Gay marriage is a “threat to freedom” on Fox News. So are unions, the EPA, immigrants, black people voting, women demanding equal pay, and the list goes on. Meanwhile, the real threat to freedom is a population systematically misinformed and dumbed down by the likes of Fox News and right wing talk radio, among others.
