Conservative pundit Ann Coulter early Tuesday declared real estate mogul Donald Trump the winner of the Iowa caucuses, at least “among natural-born-American candidates.”

Despite his high poll numbers in the lead-up to the caucuses, Trump finished in second place behind Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).

Trump, among others, has raised Cruz’s eligibility to run for President as a campaign issue because he was born in Canada to a Cuban father and an American mother. In 2013, Coulter said Cruz was eligible to run for President, but she’s since changed her tune.
