Republican strategist Ana Navarro on Sunday said that she is tired of Hillary Clinton’s “woman thing” during a discussion about Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
“I’m frankly fascinated by how it’s playing out this time,” Navarro said, “because it’s so different from 2008, where she did not embrace the historical moment of being a woman.”
Navarro then described Clinton’s “problem.”
“Hillary Clinton on this woman thing, I think, is lacking subtlety. I don’t need her to drown me in estrogen every time she opens her mouth,” she said. “Every time she opens her mouth it’s about the granddaughter and Chelsea’s wedding and the yoga routines. You know, Hillary Clinton needs to stop being focus-grouped to death and be Hillary Clinton. She doesn’t need to have a sign that says, ‘I am woman, hear me roar.'”
