Republican and Democratic presidential candidates were quick to react as details emerged Wednesday afternoon about a mass shooting in San Bernardino, California with as many as 20 victims.
The shooting reportedly took place at the Inland Regional Center, which serves individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Dear Republican candidates - enough with the thoughts and prayers already.
At what point will, say, 75 percent of American voters finally lose patience with an entire party that can only say “pray for the victims” when it’s so obvious that our lack of safe gun laws is the problem?
Notice that Republicans only ever offer their “thoughts and prayers”. They never, ever, EVER call for action. They are content with the status quo.
The GOP speed-dial response to gun violence in America:
White Perp = Unfortunate; stuff happens; thoughts and prayers, yadda yadda yadda.
Nonwhite Perp = America under siege! Martial law! Emergency legislation! Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria!
Rinse. Repeat. Forever.
Pretty typical. Democrats say, ‘let’s do something’ and Republicans say, ‘nah, we’ll just pray a little’.
