Prepare to feel: Virginia McLaurin, 106, danced with President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama during her visit to the White House, according to a video posted Sunday by the White House Facebook account.
The video shows McLaurin meeting the President and First Lady while the onlookers in the room smiled at the exchange.
“Slow down now, don’t go too quick!” the President told her as she rushed across the room to meet Michelle Obama.
“I wanna be like you when I grow up,” Obama told her.
The Obamas held her hands as McLaurin started moving her hips and dancing.

That made me cry. So freaking sweet and I’m glad she was able to go there. I believe Michelle, that kind of love probably did make the Obama’s day.
I have two thoughts: 1. This gives hope to those of us with aging parents (or getting older ourselves) that there can still be meaning and joy in life 2. Can you imagine Mitt and Ann Romney interacting with this woman? There is a “genuineness” about the Obamas that I love.
Beauty.
Her joy – her pure joy – makes me very, very happy.
