Michael Folk, a Republican state representative in West Virginia, has called for presumptive presidential nominee Hillary Clinton to be executed over her use of a private email server during her tenure as Secretary of State.
After calling Friday for Clinton to be executed on the National Mall, Folk explained Saturday that he was inspired to call for Clinton’s execution after watching Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) questioning of Intelligence Community Inspector General Charles McCullough about the Clinton email controversy.
From the Charleston, West Virginia Gazette …
The employer of a West Virginia lawmaker says it’s investigating after he said on social media that presidential candidate Hillary Clinton should be publicly executed.
Delegate Michael Folk, R-Berkeley, tweeted to Clinton late Friday afternoon that she should be “should be tried for treason, murder, and crimes against the US Constitution… then hung on the Mall in Washington, DC.”
Folk apparently deleted his call for Clinton’s execution from his twitter account but defended his words as a reasonable demand for accountability.
