Paul Manafort’s legal troubles are only getting deeper. He and former business associate Rick Gates are being sued by Oleg Deripaska, a Russian oligarch with whom he did business during his days as a globetrotting political operative. Deripaska is claiming that Manafort and Gates bilked his company for $1.1 million — and is using Robert Mueller’s indictment against them as further evidence that the two are fraudsters. Tierney Sneed will have more on that story later today.
