Agree or Disagree?
Josh Marshall: “Yes, that’s a huge, huge big deal. How can it possibly make sense to Trump and his top staffers to turn their campaign over to the head of the junk-right gonzo site Breitbart News? Do they think this is going to make winning more likely as opposed to striking a nail into whatever chance they have to turnaround a terrible trend? Who knows? A perfectly plausible answer that Trump is a committed white nationalist who simply wants to run this kind of campaign. To some extent it’s definitely true. But again, there’s speculation and then there are looser judgments that are nonetheless very edifying.”
Say What?!
“Every critic, every detractor will have to bow down to President Trump.”

BUZZING: Today in the Hive
From a TPM Prime member: “[Trump]’s evidently decided he wants to surround himself with folks who are going to give him good news, as opposed to the truth. I mean really, any intelligent politician would be treating Roger Ailes as if he carried Ebola. Just what is the upside with associating with someone being accused as being a serial harasser over decades, and these accusations have come from conservative women. I mean, what constituency does Ailes bring that Trump doesn’t already have? Fat, old, chauvinistic men who think women have gotten waaaayy too uppity over the past few decades? Methinks Trump already has those guys. So what again does Ailes add to the campaign?”
