This Week: At One-Year Anniversary Of Mueller Probe, GOP Says Wrap It Up

Thursday marked the one-year anniversary of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe, and the team has a lot to show for it. To date, a total of 19 people and three Russian companies have either been indicted or pleaded guilty to criminal charges, including four former Trump campaign officials. But President Trump and his GOP allies in Congress think this is a good time to get it wrapped up, insisting the investigation has gone on too long. It’s actually lasted much less time and made far more progress in its first year than other federal probes including Whitewater and Iran-Contra. Tump is newly consumed with the news that FBI informants spied on his campaign. That revelation came from Rep.
