Stone sentenced: About a week after the Justice Department engaged in some highly unprecedented behavior surrounding the Roger Stone case, the former associate and confidant to President Trump was sentenced for lying to Congress about Wikileaks-related matters during its Russia probe. Judge Amy Berman Jackson sentenced Stone to 40 months — just over three years — in prison, along with 24 months of supervised release and a $20,000 fine.
