President Donald Trump, the reigning king of verbal contortions, has twisted himself into knots as he’s been bombarded with revelations that he strong-armed the Ukrainian President.
His denials and explanations were comically timed, with Trump routinely making a public statement just hours before revelations surfaced contradicting his comments. And as the contents of his call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky came further into focus, Trump’s story slowly morphed accordingly.
