We’re beginning to see what aspects of the unprecedented surge in election restricting proposals could become law. Iowa’s Governor last Monday signed into law an omnibus bill scaling back the opportunities voters have to cast their ballots, joining Arkansas — which earlier this month tightened up its ID requirement — in making law of the Trump-fueled backlash to ballot access.
