At a press conference Tuesday, shortly after Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) announced he had the votes to approve the Senate impeachment trial procedures he preferred, Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) seemed to suggest that Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) could send the impeachment articles to the Senate very soon.
