As TPM readers likely know, Democrats’ efforts to pass voting rights legislation in Congress have stalled in the face of the Republican filibuster, and because Sens. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) refuse to change the filibuster rules in order to pass voting rights legislation by simple majority.
