The police shooting on Sunday that resulted in the death of a 20-year-old Black man, Daunte Wright, came in one of the most law-enforcement-dense regions in the country: The Twin Cities area of Minnesota, where residents have for two weeks watched the trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, accused of the murder of George Floyd.
