Jack Burkman’s Last Investigation Ended With A Very Weird Twist

Lobbyist and conspiracy theorist Jack Burkman is in the news today promising to “unveil” the identity of a woman that he says special counsel Mueller sexually assaulted. The story is still quite confusing but, as Tierney Sneed details, there is a long list of reasons to believe it is more complicated, and weirder, than Burkman is hinting. Among other bizarre aspects: Conservative activist and Twitter personality Jacob Wohl at first told the media that Burkman, with whom he is friends, had hired a company called Surefire Intelligence to help in his investigation. The phone number on Surefire’s website, NBC found, redirects to Wohl’s mom.
