In a court filing earlier this month asking that former national security adviser Michael Flynn be spared jail time, Flynn’s lawyers suggested that their client was hoodwinked into lying to the FBI.
That suggestion has caused quite a bit of drama around his sentencing hearing today including White House claims that Flynn was “ambushed.” In a surprise move, the judge delayed Flynn’s sentencing at the request of Flynn’s lawyers.
