The Times published a lengthy report tonight, the gist of which was a pretty simple point: in the aftermath of President Trump’s firing of James Comey, top leaders at the FBI became so concerned about President Trump’s behavior that they started an investigation into whether the President was acting as an agent of the Russian government.
