A poll released Tuesday showed that while real estate mogul Donald Trump still leads Iowa overall among Republican presidential candidates, 55 percent of likely GOP caucus voters said they were less comfortable with his candidacy after Thursday’s debate.

According to the Suffolk University poll, only 23 percent of likely caucus voters said they were more comfortable with a Trump candidacy because of the debate.

Suffolk found found Trump still led the crowded Republican field with 17 percent while Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker trailed at 12 percent.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio polled at 10 percent, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson polled at 9 percent while Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina both polled at 7 percent.

After a lackluster performance in the top-tier debate, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush polled at 5 percent.

Among the respondents, 41 percent said the moderators unfairly targeted Trump (he agreed), but 54 percent disagreed.

Among Iowa voters who watched Thursday’s debates, Trump and Walker were tied at 14 percent. Among those who did not watch the debate, however, Trump dominated with 21 percent, followed by Carson at 10 percent.

The poll was conducted among 500 likely Iowa caucus voters from August 7 to 10 using live telephone interviews. The margin of error was plus or minus 4.4 percent.

Terrific article on the Trump kids that might improved your view of The Donald slightly…

the three adult Trump scions—Donald Jr., age 37; Ivanka, age 33; Eric, age 31—have a habit of surprising people…they work for their father as executive vice presidents of development and acquisition. (Trump also has two younger children, one each by his second and third wives.) As for their specializations: Don Jr. manages the existing property portfolio, Ivanka oversees the family’s hotels, and Eric manages the family’s golf assets.

Donald Trump says he’ll do whatever it takes to become president to “make America great again” — even if it means “whining” his way to the White House.

“I do whine because I want to win and I’m not happy about not winning,” Trump said on CNN’s “New Day” on Tuesday. “And I am a whiner and I keep whining and whining until I win.”

Finally the Donnie said something honest…
