After Vice President Mike Pence and other members of the Cabinet sat down for a meeting with congressional staffers on Saturday to try to negotiate a compromise on President Trump’s border wall funding demands, the President — who was not part of the meeting — tweeted that very little had been accomplished.

The group is set to meet again on Sunday.

Trump has categorically denied any Democratic proposal’s to reopen the government while the two sides continue negotiations on wall funding.
