Porn actress Stormy Daniels, who was paid by President Donald Trump’s former lawyer to keep quiet about an alleged affair with Trump a decade ago, told a British tabloid Sunday that she would “happily” testify before Congress if the President is impeached.

“I’ll happily testify under oath and prove my story is true,” she told the Mirror on Sunday. “I have always said that the truth is the most important thing and that is why I spoke out in the first place – so I can look my daughter in the eye and know I was honest. Now the truth is coming out and justice must be done.”

She said the President “should be impeached” if he did things he shouldn’t have done during his campaign, including having Michael Cohen arrange a hush payment with her and at least one other woman to squash their stories of alleged affairs with Trump. Cohen recently pled guilty to campaign finance violation charges related to the $130,000 payment he made to Daniels, along with a slew of other financial charges.

Trump has crafted a conflicting narrative over his knowledge of the payments, telling reporters months ago that he didn’t know about the non-disclosure agreement, only to tell Fox News last week that he knew about the hush money “later” on. A recording of a phone call between Trump and Cohen recently released by Cohen’s attorney, appears to show that Trump was aware of at least one of the payments at the time it was being arranged.

Daniels said that despite death threats that she’s received since she decided to sue Trump over the agreement, she would “not be silenced.”

Being called a liar is the hardest part,” she said. “I am glad other people are now telling the truth. I am just fighting for the truth and I believe everyone should be treated equally. Trump probably wishes he’d never met me, but a lot of men feel like that.”
