State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert is denying that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson called President Donald Trump a “moron.”
Her denial came after Tillerson himself declined an opportunity to refute a news report that he used the word to describe Trump after a Pentagon meeting in July.
Nauert said Tillerson had told her that he did not make the comment and she took him at his word.
Asked about an NBC News report that he had called Trump “a moron,” Tillerson had earlier told a reporter that he did not want to comment on “petty stuff.”

How do we know it’s not true? Because she took him at his word. Yeah; that settles it all right.
I love how they are going to end up talking about this for days, because Trump just won’t shut the fuck up about it. If they had just ignored it, and let people have a few snickers about it, it would have faded away. but not anymore. No, Trump has to have everyone paraded in front of the cameras to profess their undying loyalty and love to his fat ass. The State Department can accurately say Tillerson didn’t call Trump “a moron” if he actually called him “a fucking moron”
