White House communications director Bill Shine received $8.4 million in severance pay from Fox News when he left under the cloud of Roger Ailes’ sexual assault scandal, and still has $7 million in the form of bonuses and options coming his way from the company, according to a Friday Hollywood Reporter piece.

The severance agreement reportedly runs out in May 2019, meaning that Shine will have dual income from both Fox News and the White House.

Shine’s financial disclosure forms, along with an alarming climate change report, seem to be part of the bundle of unflattering news the Trump administration waited to dump until Friday when fewer people read the news.
