On second thought…
Rudy Giuliani put his foot in his mouth this week when he told The Daily Beast that Michael Cohen’s crimes were, frankly, no big deal. “Nobody got killed, nobody got robbed… This was not a big crime,” he told the Beast in an interview on Wednesday.
On Friday, President Trump’s personal lawyer offered a “CORRECTION.”
CORRECTION: I didn’t say payments were not a big crime. I have said consistently that the Daniels and McDougall payments are not crimes and tweeted a great article yesterday making that point . If it isn’t a witch-hunt why are they pursuing a non-crime.

Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison for, among other charges, campaign finance violations related to the hush-money payments to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougall, two women alleged to have had affairs with Trump.
