Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Sunday that US military deployment in Venezuela is one of “many options” amid the embattled country’s uprising against President Nicolás Maduro.
“The President’s made clear no option is off the table,” the secretary said during his interview on CBS’s “Face The Nation” with Margaret Brennan.
“We’ve worked diligently to make sure that capability, a wide range of capabilities, are prepared to be executed,” Pompeo told Brennan.

Brilliant. Almost the same population as Iraq, but with twice the land area, and much of that mountainous. The country teetering on the verge of civil war; and most of the surrounding countries have bad memories of U.S. intervention on behalf of dictators and corporate interests. What could possibly go wrong?
Ahh …
The tried and true military conflict and elections thingy …
Yeah so let’s not get Trump in the habit of thinking military intervention is the way to change election results you don’t like, ummkay Mike?
What’s their reason to refuse future Venezuelan refugees?
Brown skin.
