Neil Cavuto: Both Parties Should ‘Stop That Nonsense’ And ‘Grow Up’

During an interview with Rep. Michael Burgess (R-TX) on Wednesday afternoon, Fox News host Neil Cavuto suggested that the declaration of a national emergency over border wall funding was the wrong path and “both parties” should “stop that nonsense” and “grow up.”

“What’s to stop a Democratic president from making the same argument for a separate issue and holding the government hostage to that?” Cavuto said, discussing Burgess’s interest in Trump declaring a national emergency in order to secure his wall funding.

Burgess argued that it wouldn’t stop anyone, as “that did in fact happen” during the the former Clinton and Obama administrations, he claimed.

“Maybe this is a signal we should stop that nonsense and both parties should grow up,” Cavuto shot back.

I’m sorry, did I miss a declaration of National Emergency somewhere?

  2. Both siderism, the refuge of the lazy dimwit.

    Chuck Todd - you listening?

Nice try idiot. A democratic president wouldn’t stoop so low as to hold the country hostage to get a self imposed pat on the back ego booster. The biggest difference is, trump is not presidential in no way shape or form. He is a figment of his own imagination.
Trumps world has come full circle on to himself and hopefully soon he will be sent to another galaxy never to be heard from again.

  4. One of the parties needs to get the fuck out the White House.

The sow Savannah Guthrie already leaped into both siderism and NPR is also in on the act. The MediaWhores will only amplify this after Friday, when folks do not get their paychecks. This figlio di puttana Cavuto is just giving cues.

I’m not sure if i should even admit this, but reading this extension of the “both sides” nonsense suddenly leaves me utterly stupefied as to why some people insist on broadcasting their complete ignorance to the rest of the world. Why would anyone consider this a valid thought??? How???
