The blurred line between Trump administration official and reality TV star continues.
The 11-day White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci will be part of the cast of CBS’ “Celebrity Big Brother” when it makes its season premiere on Jan. 21, CBS reported.
Other stars on the show this season include suspended Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, NFL player Ricky Williams and Lindsey Lohan’s mother, Dina Lohan.
Scaramucci isn’t the first ousted Trump official who’s made the jump from the West Wing to “Celebrity Big Brother.” After being forced out of the White House last year, Omarosa Manigault-Newman starred in the reality show.
Doesn’t that guy have a real job ?
But of course. Another one who got hooked by his 15 mins of fame (or was that 15 mins on the job, I forget…).
Didn’t he have some investment deal he sold? Very quaint, I must say, acting like that mattered and should be addressed.
Anyway my first thought was that Warren is more of a Native American than this guy is celebrity. Most of us have more Neanderthal DNA than he has celebrity. This really is a problem, this celebrity culture. Used to be you had to do something–sing, dance, tell jokes, whatever. Now you can just go out there and be a celebrity, without the inconvenience of becoming accomplished in anything first. Shaking my head.
So Big Brother is a form of rehab for Trumpies?
Sort of puts me in mind of courtiers at royal courts… Anything to stay visible.
