Police have identified Anthony Derlunas II, 58, as the man who disrupted a Wednesday night production of “Fiddler on the Roof” at a Baltimore theater, according to a Friday New York Times report.

Derlunas reportedly said that he had been drinking heavily and that he shouted “Heil Hitler, Heil Trump” because the performance reminded him of his hatred of President Donald Trump.

He claimed that audience members’ angry responses were due to their political leanings, and that many Trump supporters were in attendance.

According to several reports, many in the audience feared that Derlunas would open fire on the crowd.

The incident, at a show depicting the life of a Jewish family in tsarist Russia, comes on the heels of the October massacre at a Pittsburgh synagogue.
