Made-in-China Ivanka Trump-brand scarves are being recalled because they are too flammable and pose a “burn risk” to consumers.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Wednesday that no injuries have been reported.
The recall involves about 20,000 rayon scarves, sold from October 2014 through January 2016 in department stores and online. They cost from $12 to $68.
Trump’s father, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, has criticized companies that move manufacturing outside the U.S. and has threatened to impose steep tariffs on Chinese imports if elected. He has acknowledged, however, that some of his own products were made outside the U.S.
A representative for the Ivanka Trump brand, which includes clothing, accessories and fragrances, said that it is disappointed for the need for a recall but relieved action is being taken.
“We’re seeing to it that this issue is fixed immediately,” a spokeswoman for the Ivanka Trump collection said by email.
The CPSC said consumers should stop wearing the scarves and return them for a full refund.

Just one more example of the absolute hypocrisy of tRump. The other big form of hypocrisy is the way he rails against immigrants but has no problem using illegal immigrants for his own real estate developments over the years. The workers from Poland he brought over to work on one of his properties is well known now, but the one about the Ecuadorean stonemasons is perhaps less known. Bottom line: tRump is a walking-talking flimflam man. If anyone hasn’t figured that out by now…they must truly enjoy fooling themselves or haven’t done their homework.
