Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) attacked the president’s job plan on MSNBC today, and wondered how Democrats could be “so doggone stupid.”
Defending tax cuts for small businesses, Hatch expressed his frustration with Democrats, his voice rising to a feverish pitch.
I don’t know why people on the other side are so doggone stupid that they think the federal government is going to produce jobs?
The senator then answered his rhetorical question:
What they’re producing are small-time government jobs. That’s what they’re doing. And it’s just awful.
