Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who has emerged as the most ardent defender of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, accused NBC News of being a “co-conspirator in the destruction of Kavanaugh” on Sean Hannity’s show Monday night.
“NBC, they’ve been a co-conspirator in the destruction of Kavanaugh from my point of view,” he said. “… do you think NBC would’ve done that if this had been a Democratic male nominee? All I can say is that there the journalistic integrity has been destroyed over this case.”
Graham has been particularly vexed over the allegations that were brought forward by a woman named Julie Swetnik, who alleged Kavanaugh was present when she was raped in high school. Swetnik’s choice of lawyer, Michael Avenatti — a prominent Democratic attorney who represents porn actress Stormy Daniels in her case against President Trump — has given Graham and other Republicans fodder to dismiss her accusations.
Swetnik gave an exclusive interview to MSNBC Monday evening.

To Graham, and I imagine, most congressional R’s, it depends on who’s holding the kompromat. Putin/Trump must have something particularly damaging on Confirmed Southern Bachelor Sen. Graham.
Graham appears to have his head so far up Trumps butt that the oxygen loss to his brain has effected his ability to think rationally.
