A self-described Hillary Clinton voter who clerked for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg urged Democrats to reconsider their opposition of Brett Kavanaugh.
“If it were up to me, Justice Ginsburg would have all nine votes” on the Supreme Court, private appellate lawyer Lisa Blatt told the Senate Judiciary Committee. “Judge Kavanaugh is the best choice that liberals can reasonably hope for in the circumstances,” she said, while noting that Republicans won the 2016 election.
Blatt, who was tapped to introduce Kavanaugh, described him as a “mentor.”
