Former CDC Director Tom Frieden, who was arrested Friday on the basis of an alleged incident where he forcibly touched a woman in his Brooklyn home in October 2017, says that the accusation “does not reflect” who he is, according to the Associated Press.
The victim is reportedly a 55-year-old woman who is accusing Frienden of grabbing her behind without her consent. He has been charged with “forcible touching, sex abuse and harassment,” according to the AP.
A statement was reportedly released on his behalf. “The allegation does not reflect Dr. Frieden’s public or private behavior or his values over a lifetime of service to improve health around the world,” said a statement issued on his behalf.
Per AP, police have been conducting an investigation since the woman reported the crime, and now have Frieden in custody awaiting a court appearance on Friday.
How do butt-gropers reflect? Is there an arse glare?
Had he grabbed her by the pussy he could’ve been selected the next POTUS. Sad.
The grabbing seems to have been the least of it, unless the sexual abuse charge covers only that. Plus harassment. An arrest seems odd unless there was some precipitating event after 10 months.
Yes, if there’s not more to it, this would be a “he said–she said” kind of thing. With Al Franken, there were multiple women who’s asses he grabbed. What do these guys think… that these actions will make women melt and really want them? Didn’t the idea of asking respectfully ever enter their minds? What, too shy to ask, but not too shy to grab? Go figure.
Yeah it’s not a reflection, it’s a direct look into the void of your soul.
