NEW YORK (AP) — Noting that the FBI is “under intense scrutiny,” James Comey’s publisher is moving up the release date of his memoir “A Higher Loyalty.”
Flatiron Books told The Associated Press on Wednesday that is moving up publication from May 1 to April 17. Flatiron President Bob Miller and Publisher Amy Einhorn say that there was demand for the former FBI director to be heard amid an “urgent conversation” about the bureau. President Donald Trump and his supporters have repeatedly criticized the investigation into his campaign’s alleged ties with Russian officials.
Comey was fired by Trump last May. The president initially cited Comey’s handling of the probe into Democratic rival Hillary Clinton’s emails. He later told NBC’s Lester Holt that he was thinking of “this Russia thing.”
Great title. I’m sure the book will be enthusiastically received by certain Orange Shitgibbons.
This should make him doubly happy. April 17 is Tax Day.
Unless it includes Comey begging for forgiveness for throwing out Justice Department guidelines to unethically throw the election to Trump at the very last minute, I’m not interested. This myth-making process where Comey is always the lone voice of reason and moral virtue is as tiresome as it is phony.

I will never forgive Comey for throwing the election to trump, it was inexcusable. That said his book will likely throw tons of shade at our treasonous idiot president. We need all the help we can get now. The old dont let the perfect be the enemy of the good thing.
I have to admit his story will be very interesting, even dating back to the Bush 2 years and the part he played in the showdown at John Ashcroft’s hospital bed. For good or bad, he’s seen some crazy drama in his career.
Then again, it’s hard to ignore the words of our own Maxine Waters.
