Michael Cohen had choice words for President Donald Trump after his former client hit back at reports this week of Cohen asking for a pardon through a representative last year — contradicting the former Trump fixer’s own testimony.

“Just another set of lies by @POTUS,” Cohen tweeted Friday morning with a nod to #InternationalWomensDay.

Minutes before Cohen’s tweet, Trump said that Cohen “lied,” given that he “directly” asked for a pardon the President denied and that Cohen “badly wanted to work at the White House.”

Cohen’s latest jab at Trump comes fresh off of his lawsuit against the Trump Organization in New York state court Thursday, demanding that the President’s companies pay his legal fees for the Mueller probe and other investigations.
