WASHINGTON (AP) — Chelsea Clinton says it’s surprising to hear that her mom is slipping in the polls because she’s “my hero.”
The young Clinton, who has a daughter of her own, says she believes that as more Americans get a chance to hear from Hillary Rodham Clinton they will understand “why I believe so strongly that she would make a great president.”
Recent polls suggest Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders has a lead over Clinton in New Hampshire and is closing the gap in Iowa.
When asked what Hillary is like as a grandmother, Chelsea Clinton said her mom is always game for singing “The Wheels on the Bus” to baby Charlotte and is helping her learn to walk. When asked whether her mom was a good singer, Chelsea Clinton laughed and said: “Not at all.”

FU.
Aw, how nice. Did a Bush daughter interview her? Does she urge everyone to manage a hedge fund?
Chelsea’s unexamined privilege is really annoying. I have a bit of sympathy for her because she didn’t ask to be born the daughter of a ferociously ambitious couple with their own bizarre marriage dynamic, and she didn’t ask to be in the spotlight while her father was president during her gawky teenage years. She seems by all accounts to be a decent person in spite of all that. On the other hand, she has been able to cash in on an awful lot of special opportunities that most of us who are not children of ex-POTUSes will never get. No wonder she has such an optimistic view of the world!
