Former Vice President Joe Biden will skip a major DNC meeting in San Francisco this weekend, leaving 13 of his fellow candidates to schmooze the many delegates who will be in attendance.

According to Politico, also planning to bypass the event are South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg and former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-TX).

Biden is reportedly sending his campaign manager in his stead, while he campaigns in New Hampshire.

The former Vice President eschewed another major party meeting recently, opting out of the California Democratic Party convention in June.
