RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) — The official Saudi Press Agency says an American citizen was injured when his car came under fire in Saudi Arabia’s eastern al-Ihsaa province.

It said another American was in the car but he was not harmed and that the source of the gunfire on Friday afternoon has not been determined. Security officials are conducting an investigation.

It did not provide the names of the two Americans, but said the injured man was taken to a hospital and his condition is stable.
