It wasn’t exactly Frost/Nixon. But last night, a pair of former Republican governors who may have their eyes on a 2012 presidential run sat down for interviews with a couple of comedians.
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin talked to Jay Leno, and explained that the mainstream media “is broken” and needs more fairness and balance.
“That’s why I joined Fox,” she said.
Here’s video of Palin’s appearance:
Over on CBS, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney sat down with David Letterman. Asked about his possible 2012 rival, Romney warned that you’ve got to be careful what you say about Palin. “She has a rifle, you know.”
