White House Aide Blames Twitter Typo For Racial Slur

A White House aide said a typo Tuesday on Twitter caused him to inadvertently post a racial slur.

As he was sending a message to New York Times reporter Jonathan Martin about the media’s role in political polarization, Obama administration adviser Dan Pfeiffer apparently tried to say that it’s a “bigger” factor on the right. Instead, he used the N-word.

Pfeiffer quickly deleted the errant tweet and subsequently apologized for what he described as a “horrendous typo”:
