Elizabeth Warren’s Senate campaign in Massachusetts is teasing out its fundraising numbers for the first quarter of 2012, announcing Wednesday that during the quarter they had raised $2.5 million in Massachusetts alone.
Full figures, such as total raised and cash on hand, were not immediately available.
Warren posted on Facebook:
Saturday was the end of our fundraising quarter, and we’re still working to finish up the full report on our results. But I couldn’t wait to tell you about what’s happening here in Massachusetts. Even before the final numbers are complete, we know that Massachusetts families have contributed $2.5 million to our campaign since January 1st. We also know that there are 30,000 men and women from 350 towns and cities in Massachusetts who have contributed to our campaign. I couldn’t be more proud of the campaign we’re building.
