The University of Texas Arlington announced that the situation was “all clear” and a suspect was apprehended after a man was reported Wednesday as being armed and suspicious on campus.
Update: 11:50 a.m. ET:
Police were with the man reported as being armed and suspicious on campus Wednesday, according to the university’s website.
The university told students to “remain in place until further notice.”
If you are not in the Architecture Building, resume normal operations. Finals schedules should continue as planned.

Yep just as open carry intended. Where the good guy can be the bad guy and the bad guy the good guy, and the police can just shoot them all so God can sort it out.
I think it would be bigger news if he were carrying a library card.
