The University of California and victims of a pepper-spraying incident on the Davis campus last fall have agreed to settle a lawsuit against the university. Should a judge approve the final settlement, The University of California will pay each of the 21 plaintiffs listed on the suit $30,000. UC-Davis Chancellor Linda Katehi will also write individual notes of apology to those listed as plaintiffs on the case.
