An official with the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says a tsunami measuring 6.7 inches has been generated in the aftermath of an 8.7 earthquake off the coast of Indonesia.
“It doesn’t look like a major tsunami,” Victor Sardina told Reuters. “But we are still monitoring as tsunamis come in waves.”
