Can’t pardon Manafort because then Manafort can’t plead the fifth in testimony if called to testify to Congress.
At the same time he has to keep Pauly thinking a pardon is coming, so he wont flip.
I suspect that Trump will commute his sentence(s) after the DC trial.
Oh… he’s just ITCHING to flex those Pardon Muscles and show he’s the BMIC (*Big Mac In Charge)!.. Damned if he does/ Damned if he dont. Me? I double dog dare him!!
Or, Trump may be waiting and hoping that Manafort becomes “permanently separated” from his family.
He’s waiting on that delivery of novichok from his good friend Vlad.
