As the debate spiraled further and further out of control Sunday night, Donald Trump said that Hillary Clinton had “tremendous hate in her heart.”

While discussing how the country is divided, Trump said that Clinton would only make things worse.

We have a divided nation because people like her, and believe me, she has tremendous hate in her heart,” Trump said. “And when she said deplorables, she meant it. “

Trump added that “she’s got tremendous hatred. And this country cannot take another four years of Barack Obama and that’s what you’re getting with her.”

  1. the only thing I hate worse than Trump are the talking heads who claim he “scored big” by being the same abrasive jackass he’s been for the past year+…blows my friggin’ mind… :scream:

You nailed it. We’ve got Drumpf saying “She should be in jail”, followed at the end by Chuck Todd saying “Trump did much better…”

  3. Agreed – other than the usual fact checking sites, most of the press won’t delve into the issues. It will all be about who won the horserace. “Trump acted far more presidential in this debate” (ignoring most of his citations are based on falsehoods), and “Hillary spent much of the debate on her heels defending her history of scandals”, etc.

  4. The talking heads on MSNBC seem determined to make Trump the quasi winner of this sorry town hall. I thought the moderators were never going to get the questions of the people on the stage. No questions on climate change…Hillary finally brought that up. The Donald once again sniffed through the entire thing — what the hell is that about? And finally, after the debate was over Hillary immediately started talking to the people seated on the risers while Trump, surround by his children, wife, headed for the exit. Someone must have suggested to him that maybe he should try to interact with some of the people on the stage. Melania looked lost isolated in the middle of the stage talking to no one. Great First Lady material.

Isn’t projection amazing? Every time I see republicans do it, I’m still gobsmacked. I should have learned by now, but I guess that’s why it’s so effective.
