Trump Tower in New York was evacuated Tuesday afternoon after a suspicious package, later found to be a backpack full of children’s toys, was found inside the building where the President-elect resides.

The New York Police Department said the discovery of a backpack in a public area of Trump Tower prompted officers to clear parts of the building, according to a WABC report.

Some social media users posted what they said were videos of the evacuation:

Shortly after 5 p.m. ET, police announced that the package was safe and declared that the scene was clear.

WABC reported that the backpack that prompted the partial evacuation was full of children’s toys.

Trump was not in the building, as he’s been spending the holidays at his Mar-a-Lago resort in West Palm Beach, Florida.
